So! We got back last night from the cruise and let me tell you, I’m not so happy about it!! That was by far the best family vacation we’ve ever taken. We had a blast and it was relaxing and wonderful and warmer than here, LOL. It was in the mid 70s when we left Miami yesterday morning and low 20s when we got home.
That’s just stupid.
Anyway, while I didn’t do every single thing on my planned workout list, I’m still pretty happy with how I did. Getting in the body strength workouts were the hardest. I’m super sensitive to how loud I’m being in a hotel room/ship cabin so I didn’t feel comfortable doing it there and I have never been comfortable doing strength stuff in front of other people (Self Consciousness 101) so I never did it in the hotel or ship gyms. I probably could have done some sort of work around, but I just didn’t.
It is what it is, I had an amazing time, I don’t regret one bit how I chose to spend my time on vacation.
Here’s my original table with the added column of what I actually got done. Considering where I was even a year ago as far as working out on vacation, I will definitely take it!
