Vacation is fast approaching and I’m starting to freak out a little bit.
I always have the good intentions of working out while I’m gone but it never seems to go how I plan. I get lazy or I think “I deserve a break”, not really ever grasping that working out while away is more about keeping the momentum going or gaining some consistency.
While we were on our Christmas road trip, I made it public to some friends what my workout plans were. It helped give me that little push knowing that I had already told someone I would do it. There were a few times when I didn’t do exactly what I said I would, but I moved my body every day, and that’s a huge step for me.
In the same vein, I’m going to put my workout plan for the next two weeks right here. Things will start to get busy this weekend with planning and packing, so I want to make sure that I have a good base leading up to the vacation and a solid plan for on vacation. I won’t have internet access for a good part of our trip, so I’ll post my results in two weeks when I’ll be back for another Fitness Friday!
