I’ve been struggling with motivation.
That’s not new for me, but it seems to be really bad lately. I can’t remember the last time I had no races on the horizon. I have ideas of races but I haven’t signed up for anything yet.
That ends today. In a big way.
I’m committing to Jill Conyers 13 in 2013 challenge. I will complete 13 races in 2013. The majority of the races will be the 5k distance, but I’d like to throw in a 10k and at least one sprint triathlon. My focus will be getting faster at the shorter distances.
And…quite possibly…my April race might be the stupidest/bravest thing I’ve ever done…
That one is still up in the air, though. It’s just one of the many pieces that I’m waiting to fall into place.
Big things. Scary things. Amazing things.
I’m ready to put 2012 to rest and take 2013 by storm.
