I think I’m going to try to make this Christmas a little different.
I’m going to try my best to have a “battery free” shopping list.
It might not be easy, but if given the choice between a gift that takes batteries and a gift that doesn’t…well, I’m going with the gift that doesn’t.
That being said, if one of my nieces or nephews reaaaaalllly wants something that requires batteries, well, then, guess what they’re going to get.
On the same token, I’m going to see if I can limit Jake and Emma’s lists Santa to non-battery items. So far, it’s going well. Heck, they even had a hard time coming up with 3 things they wanted to ask Santa for.
And you know what else? I’m not going Black Friday shopping. Instead, we are headed out of town for a family mini-getaway. No sale is worth it, I’m coming to learn.
