And now she’s 5!

So here we are, another year gone.  Today, Emma is 5.  As much as I complain about her stubbornness and attitude, she really, REALLY is hilarious and a joy to be around.

She makes us laugh every day and you seriously cannot find a little girl with a more diverse library of facial expressions.

I sat down with her this morning while she was eating breakfast to get her take on life as she knows it.

Are you ready Emma? Yep.

How old are you now? 5

Are you excited about being 4? Yeah.

What are you most excited about? My birthday!

What’s going to be your favorite part about being 4? Um, eating some cookies.

How are you going to celebrate your birthday? I’m gonna sing Happy Birthday to myself. (starts singing “Happy Birthday to Me!”…)

What are you going to do for your birthday? Eat some cookies

What did you choose for your birthday dinner? Uh, white grape juice, watermelon, pancakes, and a cheese stick.

What do you want to be when you grow up? I’d like to be a doctor.

Really? Actually I wanna be an Animal Control.

What does Animal Control do? That means I want to put animals who are bad to jail.

What are some things you like to do? I wanna give you a kiss! Is there only three more questions left?

No, there’s a few more than that. Like 10 or 11 or 12?

I’m not sure baby. I didn’t count. Are you ready for the next question? Yeah.

What sports do you like? Gymnastics

What do you like about gymnastics? Jumping in the foam pit!

What things do you like to do around the house? Play Operation.

What are some of your favorite foods? Watermelon.

What’s your favorite color? Pink and Purple

Where are some of your favorite places to go? DisneyWorld!

What things make you happy? Um, kissing my mom and dad and hugging my mom and dad.

What makes you sad? You getting mad and Jacob kicked my chin.

What do you do when you are sad? Cry.

Who are your best friends? Kaia.

What about Jacob? I just like Kaia. I like her voice. I mean Kailey.  I changed my mind.

What are your favorite movies or TV shows? Dinosaur Train and Mama Mirabelle

What about Zoboomafoo? Oh yeah, Zoboomafoo and that’s all.

What are your favorite books? A princess book all about the princesses.
