Last week, Dave sends me this e-mail telling me that he has to learn the steps to the Cha-Cha slide. He had been recruited to do it with some co-workers at the annual Christmas party. He had less than 24 hours to prepare.
My response? Somebody better be taking video.
By the end of the night, all 4 of us knew that dance like the back of our hands. Anyone looking in the windows had to have thought we’d lost our minds.
The next day, I exchanged a couple of text messages with Dave basically saying “Good luck! Make sure someone’s taking video! It’s going on the blog!”
So, without further ado, I bring you Dave with the help of two beers and a shot of tequila doing the Cha-Cha slide. (He’s the one in the Santa hat that doesn’t mess up!)
It’s really early here, so I had to muffle my laughter…he is a typical first born over-achiever! He really enjoyed that performance more than they rest of them….”hands on the knees, hands on the knees” was my favorite part….and the “FREEZE” face was priceless. I want to see it in person New Years Eve!
There’s just so much to say!! Never a finer “Cha Cha” have I seen. Fabulous hip action too!!!! Merry Christmas Eve!!
