Today is the first day of the new challenge over at The Sisterhood! There’s a new twist this time around: TEAMS!

I am a proud member of Team Blue! We’ll be accountable to each other throughout the challenge as we do our best to lose masses amount of weight and lead Team Blue on to VICTORY! (Insert Pom-Pom shaking here.)

My starting weight for this challenge is 158. My goal is to lose 5 pounds by the end of the challenge to FINALLY get to my 2009 goal of 153. I’ve been dealing with the same 5 pounds for about 6 months now. Frustrating to say the least.

The challenge is 7 weeks long this time around so that means I have to lose less than 1 pound a week to reach my goal by July 22. My birthday is July 26th so this is going to be an awesome birthday present!

When I was most successful at Weight Watchers, I was setting weekly goals for myself. I have since gotten away from that habit and I really need to get back to it. Here are my goals for this week:

  1. Journal everything that goes into my mouth.  Just because I can’t make it to the computer to journal doesn’t mean I shouldn’t write it down on a piece of paper to enter later.
  2. 5 servings of fruits and vegetables every day.
  3. Lose .5 pound

  6. Those are some great goals! It’s nice to have realistic expectations of yourself, yet push it at the same time. Good luck to your team, but Team Navy rules! (insert Pom-Pom shake) ;)

    so here’s to finally breaking through the plateau. and it’ll be great because at the end of this challenge i go on a week beach vacation! so we’ve got double and triple goals here going on!

    I am so with you on the journaling part. Even if I go over one day, it pains me to enter it into my tracker and actually see the calories/points add up!
