I didn’t do so well. Oh well.
I had 6 books on my list and I only finished a miserable little one book. And I didn’t even really like it all that much, which was disappointing because I really like Nicholas Sparks.
I was able to get about halfway through My Sister’s Keeper and I really like it so far, I just can’t seem to get myself reading. I have a huge pile on my end table to read in the evening after the kids go to bed, but there always seems to be mail or newspapers or magazines.
But like I said, Oh well. I’m a little disappointed, but that’s what happens when I don’t make a concerted effort to read. The books will still be here when the challenge is over so I just need to keep going, even if it’s only a couple pages a night.
Maybe the books are not “your” types. Try reading some reviews before picking up the next title. Here’s my wrap-up post:

I tried to reach outside my comfort zone a bit and got stuck with books I didn’t like either, Thea. Hang in there. I’m sure Katrina will do another in the spring! LOL
I have a tough time reading this time of year. I think it’s because I’m so busy with Christmas.
Have a terrific weekend.
It is tough to read during the christmas season. There will be more challenges for you to finish your lists. I have Wicked on my winter reading challenge book list. I’ve heard so much about it – hope its good. If you are up for another challenge, please come join me for a winter reading challenge.

Congratulations on what you accomplished with the challenge – one is better than none and when you get a little time, you are going to throoughly enjoy the rest of my sisters keeper.
Hey, sometimes there just doesn’t seem to be time or energy to read. You’ll get back to it.
loved my sister’s keeper. all of her books are great.
I definitely think it can be a challenge to fit in reading this time of year. And I agree — it seems like there are SO many things to read. I must admit, I read a bunch of books, but my magazine pile is about to topple over because I’ve completely ignored it!
O keep reading My Sister’s Keeper its a great book. Sometimes I get in a reading slump as well. Hopefully it will pass son
